Thistlebit focuses on providing affordable art supplies by repurposing and recycling gently used items donated to us by the community. We serve as a hub for creatives and artists to find a wide range of materials at budget friendly prices, while also promoting environment stewardship by diverting usable art supplies and resources from the landfills.

Donation Info.

All donations are currently accepted at Mycelium, 214 Davis Ave, Elkins, WV. Dropoffs can be made at Mycelium during shop hours. Due to our current space limitations, we ask that donations larger than a shoebox be dropped off towards the end of the day on Fridays or anytime Saturdays.

Financial Transparency.

Items donated to Thistlebit are used by Mycelium members for free, and sold to non-members for slight cost. This cost goes towards the room rent and towards paying our beloved Serafelle to steward the space. Thistlebit is currently operating under the Mycelium LLC, and we cannot offer the same tax deductions for donations as a 501(c)3. Please consider donating only if you’re comfortable with these facets of this project.
